The Kit-Making Event with Meredith Duxbury

In June 2025, Beauty Access took over Ludlow House for an afternoon that was equal parts creative, intentional, and genuinely fun.

We invited our community, the people who had been donating products, showing up, and spreading the word since the beginning, into a room with Meredith Duxbury and a whole lot of product. The task was simple: pick the products you love, build a kit, and write a note to the person who’s going to receive it.

Over 250 kits got assembled that afternoon. Every single one included a handwritten note. And by the end of the day, all of them had been delivered to Women in Need shelters across New York City.

There’s something about building something with your hands and knowing exactly where it’s going that makes an afternoon stick with you. That’s what this one was. Intimate, creative, and immediate in a way that most events aren’t.

This is the kind of thing we want to keep building. If you want to be in the room for the next one, stay close.
