About Beauty Access
Setting the standard for what responsible beauty looks like—and holding the industry to it.
We’re building the proof that better is possible.
Founded by creator and beauty influencer Isan Elba, Beauty Access is building a more responsible beauty industry where sustainability, inclusivity, and accountability are the baseline, not the bonus.
The beauty industry touches everyone. It shapes how we're perceived, how we show up, and what opportunities are available to us. When an industry this powerful excludes people based on skin tone, gender, or economic circumstance—and wastes billions of products annually while doing it—that's a systemic problem. Beauty Access exists to fix it.
We're a social enterprise committed to setting industry standards, a community of brands and consumers refusing to accept the status quo, and a movement working to make responsible beauty so standard that the industry can't imagine operating without it.
Our work spans the entire beauty ecosystem, looking at how products are developed, how the industry distributes and markets them, and who has a seat at the table behind the scenes.
Our Operating Principles:
-
Sustainability and inclusivity are the price of entry, not bonus points. We don't celebrate brands for meeting standards that should have never been optional, and we don't let the industry off the hook for treating equity like a trend. Our work is built on the belief that a beauty industry that doesn't work for everyone isn't working at all.
-
We believe everyone deserves to engage with beauty—as a consumer, a worker, a creator—on their own terms. That means no one should have to beg for a seat at the table, perform gratitude for substandard offerings, or settle for less because access was framed as a favor. Real access includes the right to say no, ask for more, and expect better.
-
When standards are vague, information is hidden, or language is overcomplicated, the people with the least power are always the ones who pay the price. Clear definitions, transparent practices, and shared standards are how you build an industry that actually works for everyone it claims to serve—not just the people who already know how to navigate it.
Three ways we're moving the needle.
For the creator that has more products than they know what to do with, or the brand that is looking for more ways to tap into corporate responsibility, or the beauty lover who is looking for thoughtful commentary or advice on breaking into the industry — there is something for everyone.

“I started this organization in 2024 with no clue of how it would end up or what I was doing. I am grateful that I didn’t come into this with a plan because now I can confidently say that Beauty Access is completely built on industry gaps and community interaction. I want to prove that beauty is so much more than a lipstick or face masks. It is community, self expression, and dignity.”
